Kaynor Teachers host Art Seminar

The Connecticut Art Educators Conference was recently held at the Holiday Inn in Waterbury.  Presenting at this conference were Kate Mahoney and Janet Galasso, Art Teachers at Kaynor Tech.  In a seminar called "Growing the Group in the Art Classroom". Kate and Janet shared with educators from all over the state the Capturing Kids Hearts actvities they use in thier classrooms.  The techniques discussed ranged from opening day activities with an art "twist" to lessons that encouraged students to personally share about themselves.  The seminar culminated with a "Spaghetti and Marshmallows" team building project.
