The Kaynor Girls’ Basketball Team finished the season with a 19-6 overall record. Kaynor were the CSC West Champions with an 8-0 record in the West Division.  The team finished 2nd in the CSC tournament, losing to Capital Prep in the Championship Game.  Their season ended in the 2nd round of the CIAC State Tournament, after beating Wheeler High School in the 1st round before losing to Canton.  Kaynor was led by Patricia Miranda and Sheanna James, 1st Team All CSC, and Vanessa Jones 2nd Team All CSC.  Kaynor graduates 3 seniors, Ariel Goodman, Sarah Ferguson, and Damaris Carmona.  “It was a very good season for us.  We made it to the Championship Game but came up a little bit short.  The girls worked hard the entire season and never gave up.  They really worked together as a team and I think that is evident in our record and making it to the championship,” said Coach Brian Stasaitis.
