Teen Leadership Hosts Community Service Fair

The Teen Leadership/Career Development program recently hosted a Community Service Fair for all eleventh grade students to learn more about the services provided by many non-profit agencies and the volunteer opportunities needed to help serve their communities.

The students of Kaynor Tech have a long standing history of being involved in and serving their community. Through community service, our students have learned to recognize the impact of their contribution to the lives of others.  Participating in real-life experiences, interacting with business and community leaders and learning about the world of work and responsibility can contribute immensely to the growth of our students.  Volunteering has always been a way for our students to expand their horizons and participate in a community larger than our school.
