Through
the efforts of Civics teacher Dan Quinn, Platt was fortunate enough
to host Judge Mark Gould on Friday October 30, 2009 to help educate
the sophomores about the 1st Amendment and Bill of Rights. Judge
Gould has served as an attorney for 22 years and a judge for the
past two years. In addition, Judge Gould is a Professor of
Law at Quinnipiac University, specializing in 1st Amendment issues. The
students were actively engaged and loved the presentation. Way
