The Bridges High School Program is in partnership with Housatonic Community College. It is an achieving the dream initiative.

The Bridges program was designed to develop stronger partnerships with area high schools in order to close the gap between high school preparation and college expectations and to help students make a seamless transition from high school and college.

The Bridges program consists of four workshops presented to Platt students throughout their junior and senior year:

              Orientation to college

              Financial aid

              Career planning

              College placement testing and preparation

The seniors had the Orientation to College workshop this month. Mary Ann Tecume and Jack Sophchak, who are professors at Housatonic College, were the presenters.
