Once
again Platt students and faculty played Santa to needy children
in the Milford area. Through the effort of Platt’s National Honor Society, over eighty children were “adopted” by individuals from Platt who each raised over one hundred dollars to fulfill the child’s wish list for Christmas. Toys, essential clothing, and toiletries were purchased for distribution to the adoptees. Advisors Scott Bush and Tom Viola, along with LMC staff Paula Patterson and Jen Dunn spearheaded the drive. Junior Caitlyn Flores served as point person for the student body in organizing and recruiting donors for the event. As
a result, many kids who might not have had a happy holiday
ended up with smiles on their faces. |
