The Mission of the Diversity Team:
- To enhance awareness of diversity and challenge stereotypes
and biases which contribute to discrimination.
- In doing so, the team members help others to recognize their own biases and assist them in changing perspectives.
- Team members fulfill an obligation as role models to stand up for equality by promoting acceptance, heightened communication, and the appreciation of difference.
