HEART OF GOLD

Platt Tech’s SkillsUSA Team, under the direction of Electronics instructor Dave Feda, won an unprecedented twenty four trophies, medals and awards at this year’s Skills USA competition in Middletown.  Over one thousand students competed from seventeen trade schools and four LEA’s in forty three areas.  Four Platt students finished first and brought home the gold. They were Chris Mikailonis in Auto, Michael Holland in Electronics, Nick Cowell in Precision Machining, and Bruno Chima in Technical Drafting.
