Aviation Maintenance Technician

The CTHSS offers exceptional training programs in the aviation maintenance technology fields.

  • The twenty-month (2,400 hours) aviation maintenance curriculum provides training that enables the students to develop operative skills that meet the requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration.
  • Upon completing the General, Airframe and Power plant curricula, the student is prepared to take the FAA examinations. After passing these tests the student will be certified as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
  • The school day will begin at 7:25 a.m. and end at 2:15 p.m. The school year is 188 days long.
