Gary KelmanWelcome to the Connecticut Aero Tech School. We provide the FAA's Part 147 training to become a Certified Airframe and Powerplant Technician (A&P). Our program offers you an intense, two year curriculum covering the General Section, Airframe and Powerplant studies. Our outstanding staff work one on one with their students throughout the program. Our facility is a fully operational hangar. You not only learn your skills doing required project work, but once you achieve that level of proficiency, you will work on customer aircraft performing all needed airframe or powerplant repairs. Real world experience on airworthy aircraft. Employment opportunities abound, whether in state or out of state. Our students are recognized as having high level entry skills that employers are looking for. We have been training A&P's since 1977. You are trained according to the FAA requirements and will be capable of working on general aviation, corporate, helicopter and commercial aircraft. We are articulated with area community colleges where you can earn an Associates' degree in Aviation Maintenance. Our campus is well maintained and easy to get to. We are located right at Brainard Airport in Hartford.

We are certified by the Connecticut State Board of Education, the FAA and by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

We are proud of the level of training that we offer. Our Trade Advisory Board is made up of members of the Aviation Industry. They continually monitor our training to ensure that we are meeting industry wide requirements and preparing students for a long, fruitful career in the aviation world.

Look over our website. If you like aircraft, excitement and want a rewarding career, then come visit us.

Sincerely,

Gary Kelman
