Major: Funeral Service Management
-
Enrollment: July 2009
-
I plan to obtain employment at a funeral home this spring in an entry level position, working on program design, if possible. In the summer of 2009, I will begin attending Briarwood College majoring in Funeral Service Management. After two years, I will pursue an internship in mortuary services. Once I graduate with a B.S. degree, I will seek full-time employment at a funeral home as a mortician with the aim of saving sufficient funds to invest in a funeral home. I plan to employ the skills and techniques that I have gained at E.C. Goodwin to advertise and promote my own business. My long range goal is to be a funeral director, owning and managing several sites.
