Fall 2008 Season Recap

GIRLS TEAM

The Girls Team went undefeated in the regular season and again won the Southwest Division. The team was led by Captain Damaris Carmona and freshman Dazjavia Williams. Seniors Ngareischa Jackson and Jaslyn Lopez along with juniors Shayla Rountree and Akaya McElveen helped in making it another successful season. Dazjavia was named to the league’s “All-Conference” team by finishing in the top 12 at the championship meet.

BOYS TEAM

The Kaynor Boys Cross Country team finished respectably with a 3-2 record in one of the more competitive divisions which included Platt and Danbury. Senior Frank Porto led each meet followed by Joe Madigan, Terrell Antrum, Max Arzu, and Angel Carmona. All but Frank Porto will return next year for what expects to be a much improved team.
