Guidance Department
Susan Stango - Coordinator
Venra Ettienne - Counselor
Diane Johnson - Counselor
Alexanander Mckee - Counselor

The primary mission of the Guidance Department is to help students begin a realistic appraisal of their abilities, achievements, interests and values so they will be better able to make intelligent occupational and educational decisions. The Guidance staff provide individual and group counseling, as well as delivering a Developmental Guidance Curriculum designed to help students develop skills in conflict resolution, decision making and values clarification.

The Guidance office maintains a Career Center with college catalogs, vocational information, computer software and a connection to the Internet. Students can utilize these materials to research careers, colleges and scholarships. The counseling staff provide students with assistance in planning for further education, gaining admission to colleges and pursuing financial aid.
