Every year, a deserving Information Systems Technology
(IST) student is chosen to receive the Society for Information
Management (SIM) scholarship. This year, Destiany Hunter
was chosen as the recipient. She
will receive a $7,000.00 scholarship, in addition to receiving a
check for $1,000 for the purchase of a new lap top.
The Central Connecticut chapter of the Society for Information
Management (SIM), is one of many local chapters of a prestigious
international professional association of executives, academics,
and consultants in the information management field. It
is a not-for-profit corporation that:
- Provide leadership in the use of Information Technology;
- Enhance public understanding of Information Technology;
- Promote economic and technological growth within the area;
- Advance the quality of the practice of Information Technology
