Nov 10 : Prince Tech vs.Sport and Medical Science Academy (36-0)

The Prince Tech Football Falcons made history this night with a dominating 36-0 win over Sport and Medical Science Academy of Hartford…after showing much improvement in their last two games and suffering heartbreaking losses, the Purple and Gold clad Falcons were not to be denied on this blustery night…The Falcons scored on their first two possessions on bruising drives with Marques Palmer, Sandry DeJesus and Miguel Santiago carrying the ball and led 16-0…the scoring continued while the stifling Prince defense shut down the Tigers’ offense…Kahari Martin caught a jump pass from Miguel Santiago and the Falcons went into the half with a 22-0 lead which proved insurmountable for SMSA…The offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage as the Falcons scored two more second half touchdowns to make the final score: Prince Tech 36, SMSA 0…

Miguel Santiago had two touchdowns and a two two-point conversion runs, Kevin Manning score a touchdown and had a two point conversion run, Kahari Martin caught a pass from Miguel Santiago, and Vincent Harrison scored a touchdown on a reverse behind a great block from Kerwayne Huie which accounted for the Prince Tech scoring…Sandry DeJesus intercepted two passes and Kevin Manning one, Rudy Anselme forced a fumble which was recovered by Jazpar Negron and Johnny Lugo recovered another fumble for Prince…The game marked the first ever shutout of an opponent AND the most points scored in a game in the infancy of the program…The Falcons host a very talented Dean Tech (Holyoke, MA) eleven on Senior Day, Thursday, November 15 at 3:00 PM in Hartford at venerable Dillon Stadium…

 

OCT 6 : Prince Tech vs. Cheney Tech Beavers (0-8)

The Prince Tech Falcons were overmatched Saturday in a game against the Cheney Tech Beavers…Cheney took the opening kickoff and drove 70 yards for a touchdown with benefit of a pass…after the two-point conversion run they lead 8-0 and were never headed…the Falcons could not overcome the physical style of play of the visitors from Manchester…a nice crowd was present on a beautiful day at Dillon Stadium…the Falcons travel to Bridgeport on October 6th for a game against the Bullard-Havens Tigers at 1:30 PM…On October 13th the first ever Homecoming Game at 1:30 PM versus the Platt Tech Panthers at Dillon Stadium…the Homecoming Dance will follow at a time TBA in the Prince Tech Gym.

SEPT 22: Prince Tech vs. Capital Tech Trailblazers (6-12)

The Prince Tech Falcons lost a hard fought struggle with the Trailblazers of Capital Prep of Hartford Saturday night at Hartford’s historic Dillon Stadium…The Falcons fell behind 12-0 in a first half full of miscues and penalties…Capital Prep scored what proved to be the winning touchdown with 0:12 left in the half…the young Prince Tech team shut out Capital Prep and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 12-6 on a 35-yard pass and run from freshman Kevin Manning to senior Kerwayne Huie (who also recovered a fumble)…senior Sandry DeJesus intercepted a pass and junior Vincent Harrison recovered a fumble and had 54 yards rushing on 14 carries and caught four passes for 32 yards…the Falcons host the Cheney Tech Beavers Saturday at Dillon Stadium in Hartford…kickoff is set for 11:00 AM…
