When advisors Scheff, Clabby and Calixto asked this year’s Senior Mentors what they would like to do with their freshmen as an activity, they were quick to suggest ‘make valentines’. Several of the mentors remember this activity from when they were freshmen and wanted to share it with this year’s freshmen.

So on Friday, February 6th during 7th period the mentors and freshmen met in the cafeteria. Numerous arts and crafts supplies were available for individuals to make valentines. Each student placed at least one Valentine’s message on a big banner hanging in the cafeteria. In the middle of the banner a message of hope and peace is shared to the entire school. While it appeared to be organized chaos everyone was well behaved and had a good time participating.

This is just one more way that Windham Tech Seniors are connecting with their freshmen class.
