LPN Students Receive Scholarships

Eight students in the Licensed Practical Nurse Program received scholarships for Semester II and Semester III from Church Women United of Greater Willimantic.  These scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated the potential for success during Semester I of the LPN Program.  Recipients must also demonstrate good character, moral attitudes and earnest pursuit of their studies, and complete not only an application, but provide character references and submit a personal essay as well.  The Scholarship Committee of Church Women United then selects the recipients, and closely follows the students’ progress throughout the program.  Several members of the Organization sit on the LPN Program’s Trade Technology Advisory Committee, and make valuable contributions toward its success.

Scholarship recipients include Melissa Abrams, Barbara Berger, Krystin Boris, Sherri Boris, Evangeline Coutras, Sheila Ramsdell and Tammy Shippee.  Thank you, Church Women United of Willimantic!
