Cheney Technical High School to Host 2024 In-Person Substitute Hiring Event

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is hiring substitute teachers for Connecticut’s 17 technical high schools. An in-person hiring event will be held at Howell Cheney Technical High School, located at 791 West Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Qualified applicants may receive job offers at the event.

CTECS substitute teachers are paid $155 daily. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Registration is required to attend. Applicants should bring their resume and either a passport, or driver’s license and social security card. Contact Erin.Ryan@cttech.org for additional information.
