Freshmen in Sustainable Architecture Build City Model

Bullard-Haven Tech’s Sustainable Architecture freshmen class of 2019 have been hard at work over the last several months designing and building a scale model city. Throughout this project the students were able to apply their newly acquired architectural skills while at the same time learning to work together to achieve a common goal. The project challenged them, requiring that the students tackle common design problems found in local neighbors and cities. Using the latest 3D design software available, each team designed the individual buildings needed for their city, they then brought them all together into one model of a full city divided into residential, commercial and entertainment areas.
