For employers, the CTECS Career Center offers flexibility in the application process. Employers can choose to have candidates apply directly through the platform, benefiting from the convenience of having all application materials collected in one location. Alternatively, employers can opt to direct applicants to their own application process, maintaining autonomy over their hiring procedures while still leveraging the exposure provided by the Career Center.

Work-based Learning (WBL): WBL connects employers with highly motivated, experienced student workers. Juniors in the program boast 700 hours of experience, while seniors have 1,000. Hiring a student offers the advantage of nurturing future talent for your company. Most CTECS students are available for full-time employment after graduation and are likely to progress within your company due to their extensive experience. During registration, indicate your interest in hiring a WBL student, and we’ll be in touch.
Career Fairs and Hiring Events: CTECS holds multiple career fairs throughout the year. Additionally, employers may request virtual or in-person hiring events at any of our locations. Register with the Career Center today to receive priority notification of upcoming career fairs and to request a hiring event for your company.

As a PAC member, you’ll collaborate with educators to ensure our curriculum, facilities, and credentials align with the latest industry trends and needs. You’ll also have access to top talent and the ability to identify potential interns, pre-apprentices, or future employees who have been trained according to industry standards. Our PAC’s meet twice a year for approximately two hours.
