Our Program

CTECS School Meals Program prides itself on serving nutritious breakfasts and lunches to students in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Our School Meals team is eager to prepare and offer a varied selection of breakfast and lunch meals that are both healthy and well-balanced, providing students with the nutrition they need to succeed in the classroom.

All meals are planned in compliance with the standards established by the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Menus support, promote and reinforce the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans, encouraging increased consumption of nutrient dense foods and beverages such as fresh fruits, colorful vegetables, whole grains and low fat dairy products, while limiting levels of saturated and trans fats, sodium and added sugars.

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System announces its participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for school year 2024-25. All students enrolled at the schools listed below may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge. Household applications are not required to receive free meals, but alternate income forms may be distributed by the school to collect household income data for other programs that require this information. The CEP is part of the federally funded National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.
